Intro: [00:00:00] Welcome to Energetic Advantage, the podcast where energy isn't woo, it's your edge. I'm your host, Jessica Cerato. Intuitive strategist, lifelong pattern decoder, lover of numbers, and energetic guide for visionary leaders. Around. Here we go. Energy first, strategy second. Every episode will give you a perspective, a tool, or a timeline shift that helps you lead from your power.
Because the truth is your energy is your most undervalued asset. Until you learn how to use it, get ready. You're about to have the advantage. Let's begin.
All right. Welcome back. I have been feeling this very strong energy throughout the collective over the past week or so, and after receiving just so many messages from people asking me about it, I decided to be like, "Okay, hey. Let's talk about it." Instead of me, , talking to each person individually, let me bring it [00:01:00] out into the open, because that's another message that I wanna start off this podcast with.
So many times we talk about energy behind closed doors, especially if it's an energy or an emotion that isn't, you know, quote unquote, widely accepted, or it isn't a high vibe emotion, right? But let's bring it out into the open. Let's remove the charge around this and talk about what is happening right now in the collective.
There is a lot of anger moving through people right now. Anger, frustration, irritation, rage, right? That feeling of just being done. Like, done. Done with a lot of things, right? Done waiting. Done tolerating. Done watching. Done having the same conversation. You know, done doing the same thing and getting the same result.
And whenever emotions like [00:02:00] anger and frustration and even rage come up, I feel sometimes the immediate response is often, "Oh, okay, how do I get rid of this? How do I regulate this? How do I move through this? How do I get back to feeling the opposite of that or whatever?" But I, I actually don't think feeling angry right now is necessarily a problem.
I actually think it's serving Some people in a very real and tangible way. Because anger is incredibly mobilizing energy. Anger creates friction, and friction creates fire. And sometimes you need a fire lit under your ass. So let's talk about it today. And it also connects to something we've been talking about all year.
And it's not just that the fire is [00:03:00] present, it's how we use this fire that is going to be important. And as I was working through this and, and doing my own work with this, I kind of got this, this reminder that, oh, right, you know, at the beginning of this year, at the beginning of twenty twenty-six, everybody was talking about the year of the fire horse.
Fire horse this, fire horse that. Year of the fire horse. And I get it because everyone was just so kind of excited and ready for this next year and also this brand-new nine-year cycle. But also it reminded me of this really cool mathematical pattern that happens between January one and October one, one, zero.
February, two. November, eleven, two. March, three. December, one to twelve, but also three. And it's because October, November, and December [00:04:00] give us this echo of January, February, and March. Now, as you just heard from my description, they're not identical. They're not the exact same frequency makeup. It's not like we're repeating.
But they are echoes, right? They have similar themes. There are themes that come back around. There are things that we get to experience again from a different vantage point. And so again, if I look back now, January gave us the horse. There was so much movement. People were excited. They were starting things, launching things, changing things, making decisions, running, like that horse, running.
There was this collective feeling of like, "Let's go." And then February happened, and some of that momentum started to peter out a little bit. Typically happens when you get into that energy because February was a three month, right? And so you got-- maybe we got in our [00:05:00] heads or started questioning, "Wait, is this the right thing?
I'm not sure. Is this gonna work? Did I move too quickly? Should I change direction?" And then March came, and for a lot of people, the structures underneath what they were trying to build just couldn't hold it. They had let all the horses, like, run wild, and they didn't have the stable, or they didn't have ground strong enough to allow for the galloping, right?
So things crumbled, plans changed, systems broke. Things that looked really good in January suddenly did not make sense anymore. And after that, some of that movement for a lot of people became apathy. Screw it. You know, why bother? I ran so fast, and it didn't make a difference. So I'll do it later, I'll see what happens.
And then really focusing in the middle, the meat of this year, was about learning and adjusting and finding out what was actually [00:06:00] ours, strengthening the structures. Like, I-- really honing in on this identity and being this 2.0 version of the person who got on that horse in January. So here we are now in October, and the message I keep hearing is, well, yeah, January brought us the horse, and October is bringing the fire to the horse.
And so it feels like this collective energy is saying, "Okay, listen, like we gave you the horse in January. You moved, and then you stopped. So we're not doing that again. This time we're bringing the fire." And that fire might look like anger or frustration or rage. It might look like, "Ugh, I can't do this anymore."
Good, because maybe you're not supposed to. Maybe your frustration is showing you exactly where you've been tolerating something that isn't working. Maybe your anger is showing you where you've been passive. Maybe your rage [00:07:00] is showing you where you've been waiting for someone else to make a decision that actually belongs to you.
So maybe the fire is not here to destroy anything. Maybe it's here to move you. But here's where we really need to get discerning here. Because not everybody needs more fire Imagine you're trying to start a fire with flint, right? Those two things that you kind of have to rub together to create friction.
You're striking it again, again, and again. You're creating friction because you need that spark, and eventually you get one. The fire catches, and now it's burning. At that point, would you keep sitting beside your beautiful roaring fire striking the flint? No. The fire is already lit, and then your job changes.
Your job then is to tend to the fire, to feed it, to [00:08:00] direct it, to keep it alive. And this is where we do need to be very aware and very discerning and very careful with collective energy because just because anger is moving through the collective does not mean you personally need anchor-- anger to get moving.
Maybe you do. Maybe it's a motivator that you need right now. If you've been apathetic, use it. If you've been cr- procrastinating, light that fire under your ass. If you've been sitting on a decision that you already know you need to make, yes, let it light the fire. But if you're already moving, if you're already creating, if you're already having the conversation or doing the scary thing, if you're already, you know, riding on the proverbial horse, you don't need to manufacture more friction.
And you can say, "Thank you, anger," or, "Thank you, frustration. Thank you," insert your own individual feeling there. I [00:09:00] understand what you're trying to do, but the fire is already lit, so now I need to decide where I'm going with it because, you know, fire without direction can burn everything down, but fire with direction, that is fuel.
And that brings me back to one of the biggest themes I felt throughout 2026. Stand for something instead of fighting against something. Because anger and a lot of these feelings that are coming up right now, because they are more masculine in nature, they naturally want an opponent. And also just think about the language we use when we're angry.
"I'm fighting this. I'm against this. I'm sick of this. I won't tolerate this. I refuse this. No more this." And I get it. Sometimes those declarations are important because sometimes no is the beginning of everything. But eventually, you have to turn around [00:10:00] because if all of your energy is focused on what you're against, you're still facing it.
You're still organizing your energy around it. You're still letting the thing that you don't want determine the direction you're pointing. So here's the question I want you to sit with. What if you took all of the energy that you are currently using to fight what you're against, and instead put it behind what you're for?
That changes everything. So for example, let's play with this. You know, I'm angry that this keeps happening. Okay, so what do you want to happen? I'm furious about how people are behaving. Okay, so how do you want to behave? , Let's do another. I'm frustrated with my industry. Great, well, what do you want your industry to look like?
I'm sick of the way business is done. Beautiful. [00:11:00] Okay, so how do you want to do business? " I'm tired of this relationship dynamic." Okay? So then what kind of relationship are you available for? Do you see the difference? One keeps you in opposition, and the other puts you in creation. It's the same anger, it's the same fire, but you're pointing it in a completely different direction.
And I want to get even more nuanced here because, you know, when people are describing their feelings to me, I noticed an important, maybe even distinction. They're using two words that they think are the same feeling, but I actually feel they're very different, and that's anger and rage Again, like sometimes people use these interchangeably or maybe, you know, rage is just really, really angry.
But I don't think they're the same experience, and I really broke it [00:12:00] down, and I'm curious how you feel about this. Anger says something is wrong. Warning, warning. You know what I, um... If you've ever seen the movie Inside Out, that red guy, right? In the first movie when he gets angry, it's like all the alarm bells sound, like ring, ring, right?
But rage says, like, "This cannot continue." Rage just shuts down, right? So anger has range. You can be irritated, frustrated, you know, pissed off, angry. It gets your attention. The warning bells start to go off. It says, "Look here," like something isn't working. Maybe a boundary has been crossed or something needs to change or, you know, this matters to me.
But rage feels different. It feels more mobilizing, like there's an immediacy to it. And, you know, because I just can't resist looking at the numbers, I decided to calculate the Pythagorean numerology of both words, and this is wild. But of course, like, of course it [00:13:00] is. So when you look at the energy of anger, that is twenty-seven, which reduces to a nine.
And what does a nine do? It completes. It releases. It mirrors. It gives information. It recognizes when something has reached the end of its usefulness. There's like this enough quality to nine. Like, it's like you- you've, you've just filled everything up to the brim. So even numerologically, like anger is information.
Enough. Like you've gotten to the top, you've gotten to the nine. This isn't working anymore, so something needs to change. But rage, rage is actually a twenty-two. Four. The master builder. Structure. Form. Taking something intangible and making it tangible. Doing something. And I really find this distinction fascinating because anger identifies and rage mobilizes.
But a lot of people s- try to [00:14:00] stop their anger before they feel the rage. Anger says, like, something needs to change, and rage is like, "All right, well then let's freaking change it." And this is where this connects to everything that we've been talking about because, again, twenty-two being the master builder, if you're feeling rage, well, what are you gonna build with it?
Because you can point that enormous amount of energy against something. You can try to destroy it or fight it or tear it down or make it stop, or you can turn it around and ask, "Okay, what am I for? What am I so devoted to that this rage has shown up to fight for it?" If I'm enraged by dishonesty, well then I'm deeply devoted to truth.
If I'm enraged by control, well then perhaps I'm deeply devoted to freedom. If I'm enraged by the way something is being done, well maybe I'm being asked to build a different way of doing it. If I'm enraged by [00:15:00] the structure, maybe I'm here to build a new one. And this is such a different relationship with rage because we're not suppressing it.
We're not pretending that we're just angry. You're not making it more palatable. You're asking, "Okay, well, what is all of this energy actually available for?" Because rage without direction, just like fire, can burn everything down. But rage given purpose, it can build something. And so anger asks, "Okay, what needs to end?"
And rage is asking, "Okay, and what are you ready to build instead?" And, you know, one of the most useful ways I feel we can use and relate to anger is this. You know, under- underneath anger, there is often something you care deeply about. It's like, obviously, like you don't usually get frustrated or furious about things that mean absolutely nothing to you, right?
Like something matters, [00:16:00] and whatever that is to you, maybe it's freedom or honesty or respect or your work or whatever, the anger gets your attention It delivers the message, and then you decide what you're gonna build with that information. So instead of only asking, "Okay, like, what am I angry about?" You can try asking, "Okay, so what does my anger reveal that I care about?
And then what am I willing to do for that thing?" This is a very different use of fire, and I feel this is the energy of the fire horse. And I want to be really clear here because I am not talking about spiritually bypassing anger. I'm not saying, "Oh, you know, don't be anger. Turn it into love and light."
Like, no. Be angry, feel frustrated, let yourself be pissed off. These are... There are things worth this emotion. There are things worth perhaps being angry about. There are moments when anger is an incredibly honest response. But you don't have to, like, give it the keys. You [00:17:00] don't have to hand it the steering wheel, and you don't have to extinguish it either.
You can use it. You can say, "Okay, I hear you. I feel you. There's a tremendous amount of energy here. Where do I wanna put it?" Because, you know, the goal isn't to become less angry, although I think that happens over time. Because when you learn to harness your energy, it goes towards things, and then you start to feel satisfied instead of frustrated.
And so that just shows me that it... the goal here is becoming more intentionable-- about what your emotions fuel. Because fire needs something to become, right? If you think about actual fire, yes, fire can destroy, but fire also cooks your food. It roasts your marshmallows. It heats your home. It creates light.
It transforms material. It makes things possible. So fire isn't inherently good or bad. What matters is what we do with it, and that's how I'm [00:18:00] looking at this emotional fire of October. If this month is bringing you fire, don't immediately assume something has gone wrong. Maybe something is trying to move.
But before you run, before you jump back on the horse and start to gallop, look at where you're pointing. Are you running away from something? Are you charging against something? Are you moving towards something? These are completely different experiences. And this is what I find so beautiful about this time of year, this October, November, and December echo.
We are not back in January. We know things now that we didn't know then. We've lived nine lives just like the cat. We've had things work. We've had things fall apart. We've changed our mind. We've gotten disappointed. We surprised ourselves. So if October is bringing you back to something that feels familiar, you don't have to respond the way you did the first time.
So maybe if January said, "Go, go, go, go, go," [00:19:00] and October says, "Go," this time know what you're moving towards. And maybe for February, if it brought doubt for you, well then maybe November will bring its own version of these questions. But maybe you don't need to make the questioning mean that you need to stop.
And maybe what collapsed in March taught you exactly what needs to be strengthened when December , asks you to build. We are not repeating. We are revisiting. This is 2.0 renewal energy, and revisiting something with consciousness gives us choice. So here's what I want you to ask yourself and what I want you to leave, with here today.
If you've been feeling any of the emotions we talked about today, angry, frustrated, irritat- irritated, impatient, restless, don't immediately try to get rid of it. Get curious and ask yourself, "What is this fire [00:20:00] trying to move in me?" Right? You can also ask, is, is my fire actually out? Right? Because if it is, maybe this is your spark, so use it.
But if your fire is already burning, stop striking the flint. You do not need more friction. You need direction. And so then ask yourself: Where am I going? What am I for? What do I believe in? What do I want to create? What do I want more of? What am I willing to put my energy behind? Because there is a lot of a fire available right now, and we are not meant to be afraid of it.
We are meant to learn how to work with it. January gave us the horse, and October is bringing the fire. So the question is not whether you're going to ride the horse, the question is, where are you going to point the [00:21:00] horse? Anger can get you moving. Frustration can light the fire. Rage can remind you that something really matters.
But ultimately, you must choose the direction and harness all of that energy in the way you want. And if you listened to this episode and was like, "Yes, okay. How do I do this?" I have a few invitations for you. First of all, you can access the replay for quarter four. So I did a full forecast on October, November, and December.
We did a guided visualization. There's a big, a workbook with journal prompts, , card spreads, way for you to work through this energy and really set the direction that you want in this last quarter. We'll put the information in the show notes. You can grab the replay and get instant access. The second way is, you know, keep yourself connected with the energy and get [00:22:00] the Inner Compass app.
When you download the Inner Compass app, and you can try it for free for seven days, you can really know which days are more coded for your fire, so you can actually plan to use it and to use it well on those days. And the third is, you know- The best time I feel to do a year ahead reading or to set the sights for your year ahead is on or around your birthday.
And that's why in the Inner Compass app, you have a really special perk. So 30 days before your birthday, , your private birthday forecast unlocks in the app, and that gives you access to something that I don't offer publicly, which is your very private one-on-one birthday forecast. So if your birthday is coming up or if you just wanna make sure you get access to that , birthday forecast, get the Inner Compass app.
And the [00:23:00] second best time to do a year ahead reading for yourself is probably right now in October, because this is the preview energy of the next year. So you can reach out, I can let you know what is available, and we can do a reading for you for the year ahead. Again, if this horse is here, and now the fire is here, what you need to give it is a direction, and that is what tapping into your inner compass will do for you.
All right, everyone. Have a beautiful week, and I'll talk to you soon.
